Hi Siara,

Some really nice models there! Particularly like the lattice around the platforms on Glenn's model.

Cheers,

I think both efforts at the water are outstanding!  I'll be attempting simulating water for my Type II diorama, calm harbor water.  No sense making a first effort harder then it has to be!

Ted's Type 9 U-Boat is armed with torpedoes and looking for a target. Ted's U-Boat finds Brians HMCS Bonaventure and takes it on. Note the moving planes on the deck of the Bonnie.

Mickey is in one of the aft "meander tarnung" at starbord..........

Here is Submarine Vesikko in scale 1/72 made by Canadian Warren Ruiter.
The model is not accurate in every detail. But I like the painting and weathering very much!

I think the glass holding up the PBY, as you can just make out that the starboard wing has just been cut and glue to the glass.

I don't know if i should post this or not....

32nd parallel type VIIc in the front, a scaleshipyard type IX directly behind it under construction, and a home made type IIb on the table behind that.

all in 1/32nd scale, all fully operational (when finished)

that's exactly what he used. I have used the same figures on my (still unfinished, but close) U-hai diorama:
On the workbench:
Trumpeter 1/144 Type XXIII U-boat
ICM 1/144 Type IIb U-boat
ICM 1/144 Type XXIII U-boat
Revell 1/144 Type VIID U-boat
Minicraft 1/700 USS Ticonderoga CG-47
Collecting materials:
