True, you could save money by not buying it. But, if you want to take it with you, you'll have to print it out (fairly expensive) and bind it (equally, not cheap). Periscope Film's version is a nice paper back book, 8.5" X 10", 204 pages plus drawings. The black and white photos and drawings are clean and clear. Considering the cost for paper and ink cartridges, not to mention the aggravation involved, it really is cheap.
Besides, if you'rer really into the technical stuff, this is the kind of book you sit down with, and, a couple of minutes later, you wife says' "WELL?.. You skipped breakfast and lunch. Do you plan to skip dinner, TOO?" If she's tapping her foot, that you might want to consider finishing it later. Like tomorrow, or the next day.
