U-234 Type XB

I have recently been in contact with the Head of Product Development at Revell of Germany.   A very nice fellow, with whom I have exchanged a few e-mails.

In addition to discussing a 1/72 Type XXI... I also posed the following to him yesterday:

Another recommendation for a U-boat model is U-234 "Hitler's Last U-boat"
which was a Type XB boat used in an attempt to smuggle secret German war technology
to the empire of Japan at the end of WW2.
