The RC Subs PE set is awesome, but it calls out for something underneath. I have seen a resin set for the main deck underneath, but what about the con?

Hi bill,
Under the tower is mostly the towers pressure hull.
Under the wintergarten lower platform is the structures for the anti aircraft mount, and  tanks for weather balloons and decoys.
under the upper platform is the inlet pipework for both the engines and crew.
Also various connecting cables and wires to antennas.

Are there photos or diagrams that would allow me to scratch build these things?I have U-Boat Typ IXC: Vom Originel zum Modelbau on order from Germany, but don't know how detailed the book is.

I wonder if the caption for 'HELI.jpg' is incorrect. I imagine the Helium was used for the Aphrodite Radar Decoys.

Hi nz,
The file name is from someone else both the weather balloons and Aphrodite usd hydrogen, due to an acute shortage of helium in the Reich.

They may have be removed by photobucket because of copyright of the book "Geschichte des deutschen Ubootbaus" ("The U-boats").

In photobuckets case they changed their rules and now want folks to pay to host the pics that they share with websites such as this one, and many more. In most cases the pic posters do not want to pay the extra money to keep sharing their pics. So we get the above.
Of course in some cases it could be to copyright problems. With the 4 or 5 websiites I go to most is the change in photobucket rules and the folks not wanting to pay for the hosting fees.
Myself I wish that folks would just post the pics to the website. Most of the time (not always) the pics are not lost.

rant over
