Simon.
Correction to my last post.
Of the all the VIICs in Norway after the surrender, the U 310, U 315,U 957, U 993, U926, U 995, U 998 and U 1202 were inspected by the Norwegian Navy in May 1945 for possible take over. U-926, U 993, U- 998 and U 1202 were in Bergen and U 993 was damaged by air raid Oct, 1944, U 998 was damaged by a Norwegian mosquito and taken of duty Oct. 1944. U 310, U315, U 957 and U 995 were in Trondheim and U 957 was damaged by a collision in 21 Oct. 1944. U 995 was most probably moved from Trondhjems mek. verksted just after May 9th to the submarine pen Dora I and moored outside the IXD2 U 861. As can be seen on the photo U 995 has got her schnorkel but not the deck containers. I guess the photo inside the pen is taken during the inspection of the Norwegian navy May 1945. Thus I believe the most probable submarines in the pen would be U 310, U 315 and U 957.
