Here another T-5 kill from from U-1105 'The Black Panther' the HMS Redmill (written off as a total loss).
27 April 1945: 25 miles northwest of Blacksod Bay, Ireland - Redmill after being hit by an acoustic torpedo from U-1105. Rupert (K-561) is assisting Redmill. Interesting to note the depth charge racks lining the quarter decks on both ships. (photo credit: Mr. K.R. MacPherson)

The U-805 was armed with the T-5. My father has said when he told the Americans of the T-5's on U-805 they were very interested. Later when the Americans went through U-805. The T-5s were the first things to go off the Boot!
