Accurate Model Part fabric flag problem
« on: 03 Aug , 2011, 11:36 »
Hi!

I need help from ''u boats comunity''  :) I want to put Accurate Model fabric flag on my Type VIIC/41 (U995) but....flag is big even after proper cutting.
From some reason i don't have enough space between 37mm gun & fence.
What should I do ???

Thanks in advance

Zeljko

Maybe I sent you the wrong one, or perhaps you ordered a larger one.

The two proper sizes are SMALL: scale size 80x135cm (about 19mm on the long side or the Fly), and LARGER/MEDIUM: 100x170cm, or in scale about 23mm on the fly. Both do fit off the rail staff. Not sure where U 995 had her flagstaff, with the extra gun platform, but it should be similar. (The short side or hoist is roughly the size of the height of the railing). Note too that the flagstaff may have been portable, only put out at dock, it certainly wouldn't fly at sea, and not while using the guns.

Please have a look at measurements and get back to us. Contact me direct at: contact@amp-modelparts.biz.
