Here are a few shots of the 1:1 Little Boy replica I did for The Discovery Park of America, Union City, TN.

WOW! VERY col thing to do, well executed. OK, so give us the secrets man! materials, construction, etc. Also, an funny looks towing a huge bomb-shaped thing around behind your car?

Fat Man:

Nose piece:  3/16" steel
Ballistic case:   Fiberglass, hand laid.
Tail:   3/16" aluminum plate, constructed with 1/4" solid aluminum rivets. 4,000 + holes drilled.
Antennae:  3/8" aluminum rod & plate.
Fittings and welds: Polyurethane resin.
Cart: Steel

Little Boy:

Body & tail:  10 ga. steel.
Nose: 1/4" hand laid fiberglass
Cart: Steel.

Off-the-shelf items used on both replicas:  Fasteners and casters, all else hand fabricated.
