This odd vent...

Is there any evidence; photographic, schematics, tech drawings, etc., of the red circled flood port in the image below on any type VII boat other than the U-995?

This port is on all Revell type VII models and I have not found any evidence of it other than pics of
U-995, and drawings using U-995 as a direct reference.

I'd like to eliminate it from my model, but would hate to do so only to find out later that it was a standard VIIC/41 feature.

I haven't research saddle vents yet, but I believe this vent was standard on Type VIIC/41 and were only found on this type of U-boat.
