U995 (Kaura) Sleepovers for Enthusiasts
« on: 01 Apr , 2020, 16:23 »
Hi All
Not sure if this was an April fools joke but its still on their site.

On their Facebook website of the curators Freundeskreis U995, after all this virus stuff is over, to raise monies for ongoing maintenance, they are offering special 2 night 'sleepovers' in U995 with some of them acting as crew.Other than Mr Tores real life experiences,  it would be the closet anyone of the public will get to feeling some of the claustrophobia of being enclosed for a period of time in a Uboat.  If the link doesn't work just search for Freundeskreis U995 on Facebook.

It's still up there, I think. I can't read German but I can make out quarantine. Very interesting. A modelers dream. You couldn't take enough pictures! All those areas where others photos just don't quite focus in on what you're looking for.
