Sanding Resin Parts
« on: 16 Jan , 2010, 02:06 »
I remove the remaining attachment stubs from resin parts using the following technique:

Glue a 10cmX10cm piece of 400 or 600 grit sandpaper onto a flat surface.  The resin part is then sanded in a figure eight motion.  Every 15 strokes or so I rotate the piece 90 degrees clockwise to ensure even sanding.  I use this technique for larger resin and styrene parts that have to be square.
