I have had recent communication with James at Nautilus Models about plans of other Balao boats. During this time I purchased the Batfish kit. I was really surprised{ I don't know why I should be} with the quality of the casting and the apparent accuracy of the parts. It is not inexpensive, but you get the fairwater with CT and induction valve, wood deck replacement in two variations, a 5"25 cal gun and PE parts. There really are a lot of extras here. It is not what I will build but it may be a base for conversion to 291. I look forward to other offerings from this company.
