After years of struggling with lamp bases that were too lite or the clamp bases that had to be constantly re-tightened or wore out or damaged the wood or table they were clamped to., I decided to take a trip to the hardware store in an attempt to make something a bit more stable and enduring.
For a few bucks i came up with this....
Not mobile but definitely stronger.
