Hi Wink,

That Enterprise is something ease. I remember it was available on Ebay a year or two back. I can't recall the reserve price but it was something like US$200,000 (or was it $250,000?). There was some very high price anyway. Hence why it never sold!

I did a search about a year ago, for some info on CVNs, I think  was searching about CVN John C Stennis. . eBay search went wild and said it was for sale on eBay! This is a 1-3 billion dollar air craft carrier! I kind of doubt it was for sale!

But as for the model you note, yes, I can see the value, though few of us (I assume!) would have the money! It's quite something what he did, I rate it as 75 of the aluminium air craft modeller you posted. he really is actually maybe light years beyond, all things being equal as they say.
