I have some questions about the Type IIA:
Stage 14 (page 23 of AMP set)
The four sets of guards on the upper hull -- the poles and guy wires which protected the dive planes while in port -- were they in place when not in port?
I am planning to build the boat during operations... no deck railings, lowered bollards, and possibly no dive plane guards.
