Colorized U-boat pictures on facebook

Someone has created a facebook page with colorized photos of u-boats.  The colorization really brings it to life.
In fact i think the are some photos from Douge and Winks U-Boat modeling guide there as well.

Good find, some interesting interpretations of colours there. Overall they are very well done. I would love to watch his technique.

Great find indeed! Maybe the only reason to open facebook again these days, at least for me  . I agree with Jon, quality is excellent and it would be great to learn the colouring technique (a proficient use of photoshop i guess, but finding the original colours on the base of bw pics scale of greys must be tricky). It's the first time i see U48 in colours: I am more and more inclined to think that the dark grey colouration at the bow, also seen in other picures, could be some sort of camo scheme. Not my final conclusion anyway.
