A call to charity
« on: 05 Nov , 2011, 21:13 »
Hello everybody, as many of you know I finished building U-1023 this winter (for us here in the southern hemisphere) after more than two years of work. When I got home today I took a glimpse at my boat as I usually do and noticed that it was damaged. Seems that the new maid failed to notice the fragility of such thing and blazed away with the swab. In the end, the starboard rudder is missing along with that rod that connects it to hull, and also the port aft support for the jumping wire is gone, nowhere to be found! This dumb paraguayans...
To cut this short, I'd like to know if there's anyone here in the forum who is willing to cast these pieces in resin and mail em to me. I'm ready to pay for it.

Please help U-1023!

Thanks in advance!
Nicolas

Hello! Thanks for your reply and willingness to help!
In these photos you can see the full extent of the damage and the parts which are missing:

I've just realized that U-410 was damaged too, her jumping wires are laying on deck, supports being blown away (but I managed to find them thank god)

Thanks again!

Ok...i call now with Revell and its no Problem.

sed a Mail to this Adress:

departmentx@revell.de

Than you need a list from the Items, this are:

1. Art.Nr 05045
2. Part 35 (Rudder)
3. Part 38 (but i think is better you scratch this, is not a great Problem with this one strip)

Than your Adress and Revell send you this Items and tell you if this for free or not.
