Just dropped a line to say Hi, and thanks for adding me to the forum.
I'm currently researching U-706 a type VIIC boat; the reason for this being that U-706's first kill was the SS Stornest. She was carrying 6000 tons of coal in convoy ONS-136 and was straggling when U-706 torpedoed her. I lost an uncle on the Stornest and as a memorial to him I'm hoping to build a large scale (1:72) diorama of both the Stornest (scratch-built) and the U-706 (Revell kit). I'm looking for any photos of the U-706 as I have a couple but they seem to be few and far between so any help would be greatly appreciated (TYIA ;) )
