Just completed my Revell VIIC U-boat/CMK VIID conversion using WEM and Eduard photo-etch and some scratch building. Armed to the core with torpedos and SMA mines, modelled after U-216. This is my first attempt at weathering, I used artist oils. Anyone interested in the actual building can check out some pictures I took along the way here- http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae326/vonstigler/U-216/ (http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae326/vonstigler/U-216/)
Comments and criticism welcomed!

Thanks for your comments! I put a lot of hours into this build, but without the knowledge that other people have posted I would still be trying to finish it. A good airbrush helps too!

Really nice, love the torps, the little bits, the overall.
Weathering and shading just right, real without being overdone.
...really very well done. She shines!!! Love this!

Thanks Rokket! This was my first try at weathering and I was afraid I had overdone it a little.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Believe me; while I am looking at work done by the folks on this site, I am taking notes before getting back to my Gato!
