That's right, the VIIC is in the new Revell of Germany catalogue:

Of course thats great news Wink, but rather typically, they wait until, after years of searching, I manage to procure a couple of these boats at a greatly inflated price from the 4 corners of the globe! >:(
-
Good news, now a 1/72 Type IX....

oh my!
and when i was purchasing mine, i wrote to revell (that was approx 1 month before build started) with their response: in near future we don't see the boot VIIC to be re-released, perhaps in couple of years... gaaaah >:(
anyways, i might buy myself another one. And finally i got my supplies of putty few days ago, so current build can continue :) - not many photos since im stressing the skin at the moment, not much to see, and the progress is really really slow.

Yeah, I bought 2 type VIIC`s and two VIIC/41`s for uncontinued e bay prices from Germany and the states, cos I wanted a few boats to make sure I built a decent example of each boat. Now they re -release it after I have shelved out. No point worrying . I am happy that the boat is re-released , cos if I make a mess, there is always hope ;)

good logic Ice!
Nice of revell..keeping secrets! Keep up the work, it may not be exciting, but looks good when finished
-
Great news!
Has anyone seen this for sale yet?

Brian

Glad I waited and passed on ebay. Those prices were a bit out of control, although I may have to wait and see what the retail prices before I feel too much relief.

I haven't seen any semi local shops with it yet, yes, very interesting to see what the price is
