thanks for sharing.
yeah i read somewhere , that the cost of making a nuclear powered carrier safe for a museum would run into the tens of millions of dollars. due to the fact that whole sections of the ship would have to be removed and replaced.
Sad , but understandable.

Yes, at least somany things from the last 50 years will be photo documented. In the future we'll probably have more records of stuff than stuff.
