Sorry falo, 2 VIIs a c and a c/41, probably  Mirage-Hobby, which would make them 1:400, although the description says 1:350 U 96 and U 995, the 1:400 U 295 is the only VII one I know of with Bibers, the VIIC could be either U 40 or U 570.
 
Might be just me but the figures look a little large and could be 1:350
 
Still a good job with the water

Jon, in fact they are both 1/350 scale. Both from AFV club. Beautiful kits, lots of details, got the two of 'em on standby in a drawer.

I think your right about the VIIC/41 with the Bibers, AFV club are not on my stash list, so now I know 2, (learn something new every day), lots of choice for a VIIC in 1:350 although I still think the figures look a bit overscaled to me. Still good work though, I thought the missile launch was a clever and different scene.
All of them have amazing water effects

Good find, yes 1:700 U-boats are fiddly, I've built a couple of 1:700 U-boats and used their PE radar and anti air guns before on a couple of builds. At least you don't need a extension to the house to build a diorama and they are relatively cheap.

o.k. no space problems with a 1/700 diorama but lots of knots and ribbons will decorate my sausage fingers then  ;-)
Joking aside, building a couple of these tiny kits deserved respect.

found a review of the above mentioned Flyhawk boat and diorama. It's german but the pictures are IMO very meaningful. According to the author of the review the kit is highly recommended.

When I was a kid, we used to make little dioramas for ships out of washing powder. If you mix it with just a little water it makes a paste that you can shape and it hardens for painting. Just a thought. ;)
