Hi Siara, I just found this on the net of U-552. It may be useful for the rigging etc or have you see it before? :)

Casting Type II parts, Gato Torpedo Shutters sets, that pesky 7-3 job (that always spills over), a wife, and a a few dozen other unrelated projects - once my complete control of time and space is assured, THEN...bwahahahahahahahahah

I made a mold over the weekend, first cast was horribly unsuccessful, cut mold down and tried agin, same luck. The resin is too thick to make it into the tiny cavity, even with help.

BUT, Iam pretty sure there's a profile in plastic that fits these...a "+" profile strip thcould have the ends rounded....

Im sure i can come up with something suitable.
Im slightly busy with the Kettenwagen project at the moment, but once i calm my skin down a bit, i will jump on the boat again. ;D
