Great model but the 88 mm looks a bit too odd and ?2 hatch latches on the attack periscope base. apart from that excellent paint job and great details. the 20mm AA gun is stunning and the lighthouse too!
thanks for sharing!

Nice model! I think with all that effort though, I'd do a full hull. The floods are quite thick and should have been thinned. Very impressive though!

Many of these old threads have Great links that still work. Did you see the nice Biber model and diorama? Lots of other stuff also.

Hi Falo,
interesting particulars inside the conning tower....
Thanks for sharing...

Beautiful model.
Bianco FYI if it is supposed to be U96 the internal conning tower seems not accurate.
Maybe this is a generic boat but U96 and U552 from photos has the Circular Radar housing a lot closer to the bow.
U96 has a very accurate photo showing this 100%. Ill post later.
Cheers Raymic
Ps Also it seems the Laughing Swordfish has recently been seen to be Green not Red.

Hi Raymic,
I already know what you told about the not accurate inside of conning tower, but I like anyway to see how some modelers reproduce some particulars, not visible on the available photos....
