Great list, Rokket. My favorite is Dex Armstrong's "After Battery Rat", on "The After Battery.. All true and funnier than hell.
For those who don't know, the After Battery was where the crew's mess, and main crew berthing, was located. It, and the Forward Torpedo Room, were the main social centers on any boat, with the After Battery being favored (it had the coffee pot).

Hi Mike,

I included the After Bat because of you, such a great link, the real deal and what it was all about. Fact research is always good, but there's nothing like first hand accounts of everyday life and etc. And the descriptions! Such wit.

Here's a new one. Lots of US Navy (Sub) movies and they're working up the old Navpers 16160 series.  http://www.periscopefilm.com/index.html just copy and paste.
For those who don't know, Navpers 16160 to 16170 were the tech manuals, for the various systems, on the US Fleet Boats. 16163A became 16170, in its final publishing.
There's also a lots of other stuff (like airplanes), as well.

   More news, on PeriscopeFilm.com.
They now have access to the full series, including the OP on the toperdo tubes. They'll probably be released as they are scanned, formatted and printed, no particular order.
Now that nuts, like me, will have the info to do super, cutaway models, it can be taken it to the next level. The real crazies can do cutaways of such things as the diesels, hydraulic pumps, trim and drain pumps, torpedo tubes, etc., to put in their cutaway models.
Kind of like "The Next Step Beyond".

more links:

build up U-Boot models:
http://www.hecker-goros.de/U-Boot/index.html

that's the guy from
http://www.hecker-goros.de/index.html
best figures available.

also
http://www.cmkkits.com/
here You can look for new stuff from cmk.

their maritime line is a cooperation with
http://www.artitec-deutschland.de/aml7220.htm
on the left side You may look under "artmaster maritime line", 1/72.
the Typ IIB is an old announcement, actually became the special navy IIA (sort of)
the "Kriegsfischkutter" (trawler) is announced for fall, as is the "Hafenschlepper" (harbour tug!!!!").
If You look at  "artmaster HO" You'll already find pictures of those.
Reason is that artmaster comes from 1/87 railroad- stuff. lots of that stuff is now sort of "blown up" for us 1/72 folks.

and a bit more esoteric:
http://www.modelbud.pl/modelbud/polskaiangielska/okrety_ang.htm
resin kits of "Kleinkampfmittel" (Mini u-boats) and WW I topedo boats

 :)
