Hi Gents,

length will be more than 130 centimeters. Maybe a little bit bulky for a clumsy guy like me  ;-)

I kept whacking the VIIC when I would flip the hull around, forgetting how big it was. I'm still working on my US Gato, that's 130cm, and I constantly forget the extra-extra bigness and whack or near whack it.

And display space..yikes, a few big moels and I'll have to sleep outside

I noticed that too.   Perhaps TRUMPETER will do a much better job of detailing. If not.... ;)

Still....I have to wonder what TRUMPETER's price range will be, for such a huge kit?

And don't forget... SRS (Boris Nakropin) has a huge range of awesome PE for the 1/48 Hachette... and will be tailoring versions to fit the new Trumpeter.   :D
He also has lots for the 1/40 Robbe (RC boat).

If this is indeed the upcoming Trumpeter 1/48 VIIC U-boat kit... a cut-away model... frankly, I am no longer interested in getting it.    :(
If they have a "regular" version that isnot cut-away, I am interested in that, though.

<sigh>
