very cool tool

Rokket:
I just bought this interesting little tool at a model show:

It's better than tweezers for some hard to reach places - the angle and the thinness make it idea for getting into really tight places, or even in easy to reach places that have to be approached from the side to not disturb detail.

They might be available from various suppliers, but being in Australia, I got mine from Burfitt Tools ( http://burfitt.com.au/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=291 ). They aren't cheap, but they are one of those tools you buy once and have forever and use when nothing else will do.

SG:
they look like ENT surgical forceps!!! You can buy cheap ones in surgical supply stores, the low-quality ones usually sold for training purposes can be solid gold for modelling as they are made of surgical steel!
actually, there are quite a number of surgical instruments that could be adapted to modelling and checking a catalogue can sometimes be helpful to find the right tool for the right task
Cheers!

Rokket:
Thanks for that! Yes polished stainless, solid, works great. I will try not to think of intestines when using it...
