Yes this is quite interesting way of making a u-boat museum. The boat had been several years in Birkenhead before the final "slaughter". Back then the boats museum keeper sold rusted parts and bottled oil in eBay.uk for few pounds... Dunno if they were real or not but they´re gone now. But still interesting place to visit...

It seems they have rebuilt certain parts of the boat too , which is nice!  :)
