Title: VIIB & VIIC unusual torpedo tube ammount

Hi!
I've heard that there were a couple of u-boats without stern torpedo tube... One was U-83 VIIB. Also there was few VIIC boats with only 2 bow tubes! Anybody have any more information about these boats, or some reason for that?
