P.S. - I was at the IPMS USA NATIONAL CONVENTION last week where there were a number of excellent U-boats. Pics should be up on the IPMS USA site soon (if not there already). http://www.ipmsusa2009.org/photos
 I did not enter this Type II sub as I already had too many other models to take down.  ;D

Hi Harvey,

I picked up a copy of the May 2010 Finescale today. The photo on page 34/35 is awesome. This photo in print shows off the weathering much better than a computer screen. Really first class build and article all round. Definitely recommended to all!

Thank you Dougie. Your article was indespensible! I am now working on a COMBAT MODELS 1/72 S-boat (S-44). May need a few more drinks though before I plunge deeper into this project! - Harvey
