Does anyone have any good pictures of the torpedo from U-505, that they would like to share so I can draw the inside of a torpedo? Thanks, Simon.

Yes, it should keep my busy ;D but I not having much luck in finding good pictures :(

Simon, I am giving my brother-in-law a call tonight to see if he has time to drive over to the museum and take some detailed photos of the torpedo.  I'll let you know the answer.

I just discovered this thread.

For the G7a T1, you might find the "zeichnungen" document useful. The drawings are uploaded here:

I have some scattered details (drawings and photos) of G7e as well, but I'm not sure if it is useful (you probably got what you looked for anyway by now).
