U-582 emblem color?

anybody have any idea what color the emblem is for U-582?

that's what I was looking at pumpjet (I got that picture from there)...I don't see how that can be correct...the "key" which they show is black...on the conning tower picture, the "key" is lighter than the would be red background.  So no way would black show lighter than red in a black & white photo, or so I would assume.

Uboat.net shows 807 as gray and associates 582 with this emblem

But by looking at this black and white photo of the 807 it's hard to say, it could of been dark red i guess

Translated from the U-Historia page
"We recently discovered , thanks to the collaboration of Dr.Axel Niestlé ( and ubootwaffe.net forum ) , the emblem initially attributed to U582 (pictured right) and listed as such in the book " Emblems of U -Boat World War II " by Georg Högel , really corresponds to U84 . Specifically to a post- June 1943 period. The Dr.Niestlé to analyze the image that was available in your tab uboot determined that the same was not the U582 ( VIIC ) unless the U84 (VIIb type) . Also Axel himself has not been informed of the U552 images now appear on our tab. Since U- Story would like to thank once again Dr.Axel Niestlé its collaboration with U -History ."

On Navires et Histoire Magazine Hors Serie, issue n.20  the shield's background colour is red and the key yellow.

Cola, I apologize but i got some colours wrong, it was early in the morning and i hadn't magnified the image. here is the original artwork:

which doesn't match with the actual picture of U 582 when comparing the key and digits. I think the background colour is red and the key, frame and numbers are either white, yellow or silver (most probably silver, the colour quite matches with the light gray of the wind deflector). Sorry to add more doubts about the insignia and apologies again.
