Title: U-boat Equipment
Post by: NZSnowman on 05 Jun , 2010, 12:14
I have been searching the internet for U-boat equipment to add to my drawing. The other day I came across this Tube Tester. However, I can not make out all the word on the front. Any help would be grateful.

I been searching the net for U-boat equipment. I found this testing device made by the manufacturer AUER in 1941 on Ebay. Height is about 28cm.

The crew of over the moon, as they will not have to eating out from cooking pots tonight, Three boxes have just arrived with a full German Kriegsmarine china tableware set. Nevertheless, there was an excellent debate several weeks back about the pattern they should get. The Chief Petty Officers wanted the green pieces, the Petty Officers wanted the blue striped pieces and the Seamen wanted the red pieces. It was the Captain who chose - "Gold striped pieces for all!"
