Title: Deck slats/slots

Has anyone ever tried to actually drill out the slots between the slats of the plastic model deck? If so what was your experience?

years ago I did a test to see what it was like. It is like smashing your fingers with a hammer - feels mighty good when you stop. The plastic weakens and imperfections are magnified....I'm against it!
