Does anyone know if someone offers a 1/72 U-Flak tower?
Or are there any scale plans somewhere to help make one?
It's such a unique boat, it would be great to build that.

What i´ve been reading and searching... No! Flagman has a 1/350 flak boat but that´s about it. There are few war time photos and one German museum rebuilt 1/1 scale tower but no good photos or plans. I have those somewhere on my hdd...
I have been dreaming also a 1/72 flak boat and trying to scratch build the tower...

Hi Glenn,
just for my understanding, do you mean the conning-tower of the flak trap-boat?

Yes, am looking for the fully-faired conning tower from any of the 4 U-Flak boats.
(not the 'flak trap' boats U-673, U-973... those were different... and I have build U-673 anyway LOL)

Nautilus models has the forward platform kit. Maybe he has drawings he worked off off.

Different boats...
The Nautilus forward platform was for a "flak trap" boat, which I used for my U-673 build (www.travel-net.com/~gcauley/U673/).
But the U-flak boats were much different. The front & rear of the tower were completely faired.

This one???

I found this web site. I wonder where this real life size conning tower is... or was!
