Title: REVELL U-BOAT type VIIC 1/72 05015
Post by: alessandro7875 on 15 Jan , 2014, 07:01
Hello to all
I'm new here and I'm not an expert.

I'm looking for help tp start my project on REVELL U-BOAT type VIIC 1/72 05015.
Which detail set (PE, wooden deck and other) you do think can't miss on my table and you suggest me?

Do you suggest to make the U-BOAT with the interior section by CMK?

I realy thank you all in advance
Friendly
Ale

Hi Ale...& welcome  :)

The PE sets from Eduard (53008) & White Ensign Models (7203) are very nice...so is the wooden deck from Nautilus.

"Do you suggest to make the U-BOAT with the interior section by CMK?"  I think you'll be spending an awful lot of $$$$$ if you want to go that route.  If you have the budget, go for it...and check this out for inspiration, it's fantastic http://www.dargies.de/Modellbau/BilderU564/u564.html (http://www.dargies.de/Modellbau/BilderU564/u564.html)

Kind regards,

Tony

Hi Ale,

Depending on you previous experience I my suggest starting with either the Revell 1:144 Type VIID and Eduards 17022 PE set and Schatton Modellbau 1442 periscopes or Griffon N144002 periscopes and 8.8cm barrel
Or Special Navy 1:72 Type XXIII with Eduards 53022 PE set and Schatton Modellbau 72150 periscope
They are smaller projects to get you into working with PE

Regards
Jon
