 "Д-2" in World War II

His first trip "D-2 flew on Sept. 23, 1942, under the command of RV Lindenberg, after a day-boat nearly died when entangled in the anti-network, exhibited by the Germans, two days submarine crewmen were released, plunging into the water day and at night cut steel chain. After his release, "D-2" arrived at the position near the island of Bornholm. October 14 "Narodovolets" opened the account by sending to the bottom of transport "Jacobus Fritz

This is very interesting!  Please continue to share if you have more.  Most of this is new information for me and helps to fill a void regarding submarines of the Soviet navy in WWII.   Really great photos!
