Impressive stuff! :o

I think both efforts at the water are outstanding! I'll be attempting simulating water for my Type II diorama, calm harbor water. No sense making a first effort harder then it has to be!

A few weeks ago i visited de UBoot Archive in Cuxhaven and the U995 ;D
Well I can see in the museum two Uboot pennants they no as a standart mesurements, the crew make them. But... a mesurements are 130 x 5 cm. or 150 x 6 cm. and the tail .. yes is forked.

Mickey is in one of the aft "meander tarnung" at starbord..........
it tells about the humerous and fun- build approach this guy took, I remember he just didn't care if the "bachstelze" was used on type VII C or not.....

very cool and very dramatic!
-
Wonderful diorama, really.
-
I like the dio. Full of action! I wonder how the bulider keeps the PBY aloft?
Ernest
-
that is a mystery, one angle shows heaps of background table, and I don't see any lines of shadows!
-
I think the glass holding up the PBY, as you can just make out that the starboard wing has just been cut and glue to the glass.

Oh I believe him, it's just that the detail makes it seem bigger ;)

Jan (Mr. Mox) is a truly master of "seascape" dioramas and subtle painting!
how did he manage to get the frame round the styropor, alufoil, acrylic base?

that is very nice, esp for the scale!
-
Preiser makes a tankcrew in 1:144, it looks to this set he used for this build.

-
+1
that's exactly what he used. I have used the same figures on my (still unfinished, but close) U-hai diorama:
