Title: Kingston valves
Post by: bianco64squalo on 06 Nov , 2017, 00:27
Hi everybody,
while I'm reproducing the hole with grating on the side of Kingston valves, I'd like to make some improvements to Kingston valves.
Are there some photos of this valves ? The only ones I have are those one of Laboe's U-995 ( see the attached photo ), but they seem to be welded....
Thanks for any help.
Cheers.
Filippo

Waiting for some help about the Kingston valves, I post some photos of the completion of the hole with grating.
In the last photo the photoetched grating is only placed, without glue; I'll have to scrape the hull surface to obtain an hollow of ther same dimensions of the grating, in order to have the grating flat with the hull surface, without protuberance....
Now I'm waiting an help about the Kingston valves....
Cheers

Here I am....
According with the unique drawing I found, that stated the coplanarity of the kingston valves with hull surface, I filled the recesses of the model with plasticard doors....
