Hi Wink,
Er...possibly a dumb question. On the price list for the Kreigsmarine flags there are three different sizes for each scale. Sooo does that mean that any size is correct for a U-Boat?
I'm going to go and have another look now in case i've read wrong ::)

Soooooooooooo sorry I missed your post when checking -oops!
The 1st and 2nd sizes are correct. The larger size is more battleship.
1st size is small, sort of a "commander's flag",show up in many pix. But the 2nd size, larger, shows up in more. The 2nd size is "meatier" and not overpowering. (100 x 170cm in scale).
Again, SO sorry for not responding earlier, just bad eyes.
