1:144 VIID build (Spanish) = OUTSTANDING
« on: 09 Dec , 2011, 09:12 »
I recently picked up the 1/144 Revell VIIC/41 "Atlantic Edition" so now I have all 3 U-boats from Revell in that scale:  VIIC, VIIC/41, VIID.

In searching for aftermarket details, I stumbled across the following VIID build on a Spanish website.
Check it out... it is simply OUTSTANDING!

I was a bit disappointed to see that there is no detail set for the VIIC/41 (only the Griffon PE set for the 1:144 VIIC and VIID in this scale)... woulda LOVED to have gotten a proper PE deck and the bow&stern lower vent holes since no-one makes those in 1/144.  And some better AA ordinance in 1/144 too.

Any help would be appreciated on places to get good detail sets for these fine 1/144 U-boats.

Cheers!
