Thats great Glenn. It makes a big difference when someone actually shows you how he does things instead of just telling. Good for folk like me. Thanks for posting that  ;)

I never knew you could get 1.144 photo etched sets. I thought 1.72 was the only ones. Those pieces must be a b****r to fit. :o  I had enough trouble with the 1.72 pieces! :-[

Yes, there are several places that make 1/144 U-boat detail sets:   Griffon, Eduard, RCsubs

Will definitely have to have a go with one of those mate. I have not been building for a couple of years as I had other more pressing arrangements, but hope to get back to it sometime soon  ;)
