Hi pals!
Some one can help me where I can see pictures or drawings or diagrams of the camouflages for the Midget U boot seehund?
This is because I start building my broncos 1/35 kit and I don't have Any idea of the colors or patterns or any emblems (like the other u boats if are the case) they have.
If some one can post some pics, I will appreciated very much!
Thanks! 8)

Helmut, the only pictures I have are those published on the book "Weapons of desperation" by Lawrence Paterson, about 7 b/w pictures. Let me know if you have them already or not. I can easily send them over (in a few days as I am gonna be away for work these days).

I think I have all available books on the topic (?), but I have never seen a wartime colourphoto of a Seehund, and only one photo suggesting any kind of camouflage-pattern (on the conning tower). A russian book have some drawings of german midgetsubs with a variety of camouflagepatterns, but what source they have used for this is unknown. Most photos would suggest a uniform colour (probably dark or light gray, according to area of operations, but I reckon there might have been a lot of local variations/adaptions).
One thing is for sure: Don't use museum-objects as reference, as they tend to show great fantasy in regards to choosin colours for their subs and torpedoes...
Here are some wartime pictures (various sources/books):

And some drawings (ditto):

I have seen several posts of the Bronco Seehund model, and I just need to say that their G7e torpedoes are awful: Wrong shape of the fins, 4-blade(!) propellers, "rivets" on battery- and gyrohatches... etc.
Sorry for a late reply, but maybe someone else might find this useful... :)
