Bright idea Bill! A great project beautifully executed, well done!

OldNoob:
Always been intrigued by the Discovery kits.
Starship modeler has Stargazer Models 144 scale one for $224  :o
 I wonder how big a 1/72 DY100 kit would be. ;)

Rokket:
'Noob: big. really big. space big.  ;D

Mr. Bill:
A few of the available XD-1 Discovery models can get very large.  Perhaps the biggest is the 11 foot monster by Scott Alexander of Atomic City Models.  I have the 4.5 foot version of XD-1 from Timeslip Creations and is difficult to find a place to display.

Cheers,

Bill

Rokket:
WOW! I've seen that 11 footer on Capt's site...I'm thinking the way to go it to pretend they came up with more efficient shielding and fuel and shorten that spine... ;D
