Post by: Rokket on 14 Mar , 2009, 20:49
Periscope Film - with member Mike Keating's help - has released a reprint of the 1944 submarine manual "Navpers 1085 Submerged Torpedo Tubes". Packed with great pix and info, both model research and general submarine interest.

And that ain't all. They have the basic "Fleet Submarine Manual" and many of the systems; Trim and Drain, Hudraulic, Air, Diesel, etc.
   Here's tha page for them:

If you buy and read all of the books, they have available, you'll be, just about, qualified on US diesel boats.
AND, if you use them to detail your Revell 1:72 Gato, your wife/mother/significant other, will send for those large nice men, in white coat (with butterfly nets), to take you somewhere you can't hurt yourself.

LOL- I've got the main sub manual, which is excellent. I'm concentrating on the "meaty" bits
