Hi Jan,
Very nice job, love the lines on a Type II. I really like all the alterations you made to the Special Navy kit. Good luck with your other sub builds.

Hi Jan,
your Type II is beautiful. Is it the same one you documented while building at "Model Shipwright's"?
When I am finished with my current build, I plan to build the Type II. Hopefully mine will turn out as well as yours did.

Thanks, you are much too kind.
Yes Ernest, its the same, I did alot to make it a german version as the one in the box is basically the Vesikko.
Its a nice kit, and a attractive boat, but its easy to be carried away updating it ;)

Superb job, Jan. You've made a fine job of the Type II (and the XXIII).
For anyone who hasn't seen Jan's build it is well worth checking out -

I might be tempted to do a early boat if your update set supports that! Its a very attractive little boat, and i have something I would like to try ....
