Title: USS Midway (CVA-41)
Post by: Mike K on 04 Oct , 2010, 09:36
While digging for info on SS United States I ran across something that might be of interest to you "bird farmers".
In the January 1954 issue of Popular Mechanics, was the first of four parts, on building a model of USS Midway (CVA-41), pre-angled deck.
I've still got to get it scanned and cleaned up. Is anybody interested in copies? If so, email me.

Sounds like a great article. I'm interested just in the history (1954) of modelmaking, never mind the CV!
