Hi,
here are two new interesting kits for those who want to complete their collection of german ww II boats in 1/144 scale:

And - a little bit off topic - offered by the same company the CSS Hunley (scale 1/35):

Hi all,
The 350th scale boat will fit with the Hobby Boss 350th, who strangely, at least I've always thought, do both 1:350 and 1:400. Although it looks to have better detail by including a brass fret. BTW I picked up the 1:144 version at the Southern Expo last month to join my every growing fleet, now we need a XXIII and some IXs, oh yeah and some different IIs and ....

Exactly, the brass fret adds more value to the kit. Do you know of any new release of type XXIII models in 1/350?

Hi all,
Whoops meant Mirage Hobby not Hobby Boss.
Sorry not seen a 1:350 type XXIII, I have the Skywave/Pitroad 1:700 version, it came with a type XXI which I needed for a diorama, don't panic IIRC it was a 2 piece model, just glue the hull halves together.
A suggestion, see if you can find a card model plan of a type XXIII and re-scale it. Some of the card models are very accurate, I've been toying with the idea of the ecardmodels type VIIc.
