Title: 1/72 Airfix Bf-109E-3 - Werner Pichon-Kalau von Hofe
Post by: Mr. Bill on 31 Jan , 2021, 19:21
Greetings!

Just completed from the Airfix Starter Set.  I used Tamiya paints and weathering sets along with a gentle wash.  A very nice kit with the possible exception of the exaggerated panel lines.    Many thanks for having a look, questions and comments are always welcome.
 Cheers,
 Bill

Bill, that's supercool!  8) I love the 109's exhaust fumes weathering, very subtle, 100% realistic. Lil masteripece (well, not so "lil" ;D )

Thank you!  I find it difficult to get the "correct" amount of weathering on aircraft, especially in 1/72 scale.  Recently, I am trying a new technique that uses water colour pencils that seems to work well.  Very easy to apply and remove.
