This is a good video to see a galley in action (Silversides). It's pretty funny, and yu get some tidbits of info along the way.

After watching, I was able to convince my wife to combine her weekend baking with my desire for a submarine slant cake...

Oopps, forgot to give you the gag - it's slanted because the sub was diving and manoeuvring while baking - funny stuff

That was a really cool video. I've been in the galley of the Silversides and I can't imagine cooking in there.

Mighty cramped. Add movement and lots of activity..I think I'd make the crew eat canned stuff cold! The freezer! wow.
